Laurie Kolp serves as president of Texas Gulf Coast Writers and gathers monthly with local members of the Poetry Society of Texas. She is a happily married mother of three children who actively participates in their education. Laurie’s award-winning poetry has appeared in more than three dozen print and online journals, anthologies and magazines worldwide. Her most recent publications include the Concho River Review, 2015 Poet’s Market, Blue Fifth Review, Pirene’s Fountain and Diane Lockward’s The Crafty Poet. Laurie loves collaborating with artists and her poem, The Sheets, has appeared with Debra Balchen’s artwork at Palette & Chisel Academy of Fine Arts.
